Hello reader! you are welcome to this blog about making money. my name is leonard emeka odagbu. Before i commence on the topic, i would like to tell a short story.
like many people, i wanted to know how i could make money. i have read some motivational books on the topic, did alot of search on the net and still no solution was found. i got to understand that making money isn't that easy or simple as i hoped it would, so i started thinking and cracking my brains for solutions.
today am glad to say that have found some ways that anyone can use to make money. the question now is, 'why do people want to make money?' like most, i wanted an extra income, be my own boss, have money for expenses e.t.c. am so sure that you know why you want to make money. below are some the ways i came up with on how one can start making money
1. you must have a good reason to want to make money: i guess you will be saying to yourself that any reason is good enough to make money, well you are wrong. some wants to make money for the wrong reasons, maybe to become famous, subdue others with your wealth, drive luxurious cars and spend money exorbitanly, to mention but a few. i tell you, you must have a reason that will sustain you even when it seems like you are not making as much as you want. you reason needs to be because you want to be comfortable i life, then you will steadily grow in your reaches. this is true because when you humble yourself, then God will assist you up.
2. you need a good business idea: heres where most people get it wrong. everyone wants to partake in a business that will yield great returns. the truth is that all business can yield returns, it all depends on how you manage that business. there are three ways to find a good business idea. (a) find an existing business and work on it to upgrade it to a state that you can beat the first participants of the business. (b) use exactly the same idea as others and get involve in an existing one without changing a thing. (c) bring an entirely new idea by looking at your environments and bringing solutions to the problems of people. with these am sure you are already on your way.
3. you need a start up capital: well to most nigerians this is where the problem lies. some people have great ideas but no capital to fund these ideas. if you are passionate about your business and believe it will thrive well then not even capital should be your problem. do whatever you can, talk to people, save, work for a while, just do anything to raise that capital and start up your business. if still there is no solution then don't give up yet there is hope below.
4. start thinking like an entrepreneur: an entrepreneur is the boss of his business, he manages his funds, time and energy, he is a moderate risk taker and works for the growth of his business. you must be ready to offer a 24hrs service, go the extra mile for your customer, provide good service, have a good customer relationship and keep a good quality of your goods always.
5. promote your business: these is quite necessary, because if people don't know about your business how would you make money? make business cards and give out to people, talk to people about your business, advertise on dailies or other media if you can. with this people will get to know more about you.
6. upgrade your business: by this i mean that you should develop more ways to make sure that you keep your customers, that your product stays of top quality, you find out ways to be in service and give your best to the growth of your business.
with these few tips am sure you should be able to be your own boss. learn that to make money is not a do or die affair, your business could grow or die but no matter what remember that your persistence will pay in the long run. i wish you the very best!
